Café Style Shutters on Bay Windows: Photos From Our Projects
Café style shutters cover just the lower part of the window and leave the top open. They are the lightest-looking shutter we fit, and they are very popular on front bay windows.
What you can see in these photos
Eight bay windows with white café style shutters, mostly in living rooms. The shutters stop at around the height of the window frame, so the top of every pane stays clear and the room keeps all its daylight.
Café style or tier-on-tier?
- Café style: privacy at the bottom and full light at the top, with fewer panels to open and close.
- Tier-on-tier: the same look during the day, but you can also close the top in the evening.
If you never need to cover the top of the window, café style is often the best choice. See our café shutters page.
