What are Tier-on-Tier shutters?
Tier-on-tier shutters are made up of two sets of independent shutters which fit the top and bottom sections of your window. They cover the whole of your window, in the same manner as full height shutters do.
Tier-on-tier shutters are versatile and practical, resulting in you being able to maintain privacy and let in natural light at the same time. And, of course, you can delicately adjust the louvres in both the top and bottom of your tier-on-tier shutter to allow the sun to softly light up your room.
Why choose Tier on Tier?
With the whole window being covered, you can control your privacy as well as having the sun light shining through. For complete privacy, you have the option to keep all panels and louvres completely closed and create darkness. Alternatively, pull open the top panels whilst keeping the bottom closed and you have privacy at the bottom and natural light beaming into the room through the top of your window.
What type of window are full tier-on-tiers best suited to?
Most popular on tall windows where sometimes it’s necessary to split the panels into two for structural reasons.
Ideally suited for bay or sash windows, or any windows with a dividing point in them. This dividing point will usually be the point to where the tier-on-tier shutter will split.
